In this recent and powerful composition, Arribas evokes the maritime world through his unique visual poetics. The upper portion of the work, vibrant and full of energy, is constructed through repeated brushstrokes, creating an overflowing, organic weave that brings the surface to life.
This energy is sustained by a disturbing base that reflects the movement of the sea, while the turquoise blue envelops the viewer… in a grid formed by the same repeated brushstrokes.
