Samidare (2023) is a journey towards an intramural state, leaving living traces with each brushstroke, in a process that embraces duality and is impregnated with the turquoise hue.
With the intention of tracing this spiritual journey, a battle with matter itself begins, in order to transform both the substance and ourselves. This dual approach evokes the performance of a minimalist piece of music, where the canvas becomes a landscape of strange… depth and almost infinity, with shades of turquoise that provide serenity and mystery. This landscape arises from the repetitive drive of an austere and simple gesture, similar to the minimalist cadence of a musical composition.
Just as the Samidare rain reflects the duality between spring freshness and emotional depth, this abstract composition, enriched by the color turquoise, captures the ephemeral essence of that artistic journey, where transformation and expression intertwine on a resonant and evocative canvas. .
