About this artwork
This work was born as a dialogue between memory and rebirth. Every mark, scratch, and trace of time becomes part of an emotional narrative that passes through the material to reach the interior. On this abandoned industrial slab, I wanted to convey the transition between fragility and strength, between that which weighs and that which transforms into light. Materials: acrylic paints, ferrous pastes, and metal wires create a dense and poetic visual…
language, while the integrated light amplifies the perception of energy and silence. It is a tribute to resilience, to the ability to transform the weight of the past into an engine of evolution. My name is Flora Zambanini and I am a self-taught artist. I transform any type of industrial material into works of art, integrating cement and ferrous pastes, acrylic paints, metal wires, and DioramaART elements: micro-scenes created with miniature real objects. I attach designer lamps directly to the work and, for some niche pieces, use illuminated display cases. Surfaces marked by scratches, dents, and imperfections become aesthetic textures: where oxidation transforms into poetry. A distinctive element of my work is that the works are not created to be hung, but to be experienced in space as pictorial design sculptures.
