About this artwork
The poppies are a flower that is both fragile and ephemeral and at the same time full of strength and so full of life. In my flower paintings, I like to represent poppies. However, this is the first time that I have made a large format with only this flower. I let you dive into the canvas and look at the material effects as well as the color contrasts.
