3I/ATLAS, also known as C/2025 N1 (ATLAS) and previously known as A11pl3Z, is an interstellar object discovered on 1 July 2025 by the ATLAS System Station at Río Hurtado in Chile, as it entered the inner Solar System at 4.5 AU (670 million km) from the Sun with a relative velocity of 61 km/s. It is on a hyperbolic trajectory around the Sun with an orbital eccentricity of 6.1 and a very fast hyperbolic excess velocity of 58 km/s with respect to the… Sun. It is the third confirmed interstellar object to pass through the Solar System, after 1I/ʻOumuamua and 2I/Borisov.
This July 2, 2025, photograph from the Canada-France-Hawaii Observatory telescope shows 3I/ATLAS (center) blurry and elongated, indicating that it is a comet.
The size of its nucleus is uncertain because it is an active comet surrounded by a coma, a cloud of gas and icy dust.

Arturo Prins is an exciting Spanish artist whose style comes from a sensibility of play, discipline, freedom and rebellion, redoubled in a constant reinvention of himself. Thematically, Prins looks to delve into metaphysics, symbolism, esoteric cosmogony, while mixing in humor to soften the transcendent themes in his work. He also describes his work as being "nostalgic for the future, sometimes with a nod to the eclectic spiritualism between East and West."
