This work from Astrid Stoeppel's "Paperwork" series is a unique mixed-media artwork measuring 90 × 70 cm. It is created from countless colored paper scraps, which are carefully and in multiple layers mounted three-dimensionally on canvas.
The light pink canvas background remains subtly visible at the sides, lending the work additional softness and spatial depth. The many layers of paper fragments create a richly textured, tactile surface whose… effect changes depending on the light and viewing angle.
