Drift is inspired by the experience of drift diving: immersing oneself in the open sea and trusting in the movement of the water.
Deep blue tones, flowing structures and the floating jellyfish capture this feeling of letting go and transfer it to life.
This unique piece was created using mixed media on canvas with soft pastels and acrylics. Overlapping layers of color, blurred transitions, and deliberately placed textures create depth and movement,… making the underwater world almost physically tangible.
