About this artwork
My work embodies a tremendous nostalgia through the transformation of the classic 1965 Spirou comic strip into a three-dimensional sculpture. Using resin and epoxy, I have preserved the original vibrancy and shine of the paper while giving it a lasting and tangible dimension. This work is a tribute to the epic nature of publications of yesteryear, a centerpiece that brings a breath of retro and colorful life to any space. Every detail is preserved…
to evoke memories and contemplation.
