About this artwork
I was inspired by a walk around the Étangs de… Hollande in the Yvelines (78).
On the banks of these ponds stood the castle of King Louis XV of France. Today, the remains can be seen.
The ponds of Holland are ponds created in the 17th century to supply the basins of the Palace of Versailles, which have become a nature reserve for many birds.

Whether it's abstract compositions or semi-abstract landscapes, my primary aim is to convey emotion. My works invite contemplation, feeling, and letting one's imagination wander.
For over seven years, I have been exploring nuances and chromatic harmonies through an approach based on the freedom of experimentation. The colors, meticulously chosen and composed, interact between transparent glazes, materials worked with a knife, and reliefs created using sand or marble powder.
A passionate self-taught artist, I developed my practice through the study of art history, painting techniques, and color theories. Having grown up near Auvers-sur-Oise, the cradle of Impressionism, I was deeply influenced by the world of Van Gogh and Pissarro.
My inspiration comes from nature, music, cinema, and human interactions.
