Established American artist Barbara Hocker's was mesmerised by color and photography from a young age. The Japanese aesthetic concept of 'Wabi Sabi' is a key theme in her artworks, the notion that hope and loss always dance together and that everything is impermanent, imperfect and in constant flux is central to this dogma.
