Barbara van den Berg is a painter and photographer based in the Netherlands whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, Belgium, Sweden, and Denmark. Her daughters continuously inspire her artworks through their "inexhaustible imagination and curiosity about the world". Van den Berg's figurative compositions most often feature children and express a "sincerety, openness, and playfulness" that she greatly admires in children.
