About this artwork
In 1990 I was creating a series of oil pastels on watercolour paper in my studio on William Street in Vancouver.
These pieces were heavily scraped and reworked, very physical.
All my pieces include a flow of movement.
This piece was another one of my tests of reworking my compositions digitally.
I felt that if the medium could bring about the original texture and feeling of the acrylic painting, then the piece would be a success.
