About this artwork
My current body of work explores the tension between control and chance through abstract compositions built on wood panel. I use acrylic paint, glue, and a range of non-traditional materials, applying and removing them with both conventional tools and industrial implements—drills, sanders, grinders—anything that allows me to physically engage with the surface. This process yields a layered aesthetic, where each stratum reveals traces of decision,…
