About this artwork
This is not just a painting. This is a scream. A cry for those who have no voice. The background shows what was once a safe children’s room — now turned into ruins. The torn wallpaper is created using real paper collage, while the cracked, damaged wall is made even more tangible with heavy texture paste. The teddy bear is not just a symbol — it stands out in three dimensions with expand paste, as if desperately clinging to what remains of this shattered… world. The traditional toys of the past — symbols of peace and innocence — are surrounded by gold, representing the fading light of lost innocence. But where the tools of war appear — the tank, the soldier, the airplane — there is only darkness left. The child, with tears in their eyes, searches for shelter. The window no longer exists… and destruction continues to rage in the background.
Acrylic, texture paste, expand paste, paper on stretched canvas, 50 x 70 cm.
