About this artwork
This is a view of New York's famous Brooklyn Bridge. I used a limited palette to portay the bridge at the light of dawn. Dark and light blue as well as yellow fragments make up the painting. This iconic bridge is an impressive example of man's achievements in architecture that help us feel at home in this world. Art, too, can help us feel more at home in this world. Despite the contrasts in form and colour the final painting is a harmonious work…
