This is a semi-abstract painting of a colourful sunset. Dark blue clouds of different shades of blue towering over the sea. The sea is reflecting the sky's bright orange and yellow colours. The brushstrokes are looser than the artist's usual style. The artist's palette reflects the mindset of an artist depicting a glowing sunset that is also a promise of a bright new day coming. The intense and almost pure colours evoke positive feelings of energy…
and hope for a new tomorrow. There are repetitive elements and stylised forms which give a unique rhythm to the artwork.
