This delicate collage combines the tactile structure of marble powder with the delicate, natural texture of daffodil paper. The torn edges lend the work an organic feel and allow the picture to be hung without a mat. The color scheme is dominated by a cool, watercolor-like blue-gray nuance,… contrasted by warm, golden accents in the window area. The interplay of the rough surface and seemingly transparent layers invites closer inspection and leaves room for associations of transience, light, and spatial depth.
