About this artwork
It is through this abstract facet that the artist gives us his memories.
Ancenis facing the village of Liré on the banks of the Loire. which excited the poet Joachim Du Bellay .; left an impression of serenity on the artist.
This small village so dear to the poet's heart, rises on a hill overlooking the Loire, and it is from the Château de la Turmelière where he spent his youth that the poet contemplates this valley.
"... When will I see, alas,… my little village
Smoke the fireplace, and in what season ... "

It is also within this castle which has become an IMP center that Béatrice practiced her nursing profession a few years ago. She also enjoyed admiring this landscape which she worked by incorporating eggshells with its pigments and an acrylic binder.

Beatrice Van Ez-Le Perru is an award-winning French painter whose works have been extensively exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and the United States. With a figurative style, she favors painting maritime scenes and is also inspired by 'silent lives' and landscapes. Trained in traditional techniques, Van Ez-Le Perru creates using pigments she blends in her studio.
