Caress my eyelids
Its iodized vapors
Cry in my wet eyes
The wind of the spray
Touch my hands
In drops of mist
Which stream under the moon
The breath of the sea
With reflections of gold and iron
In trade wind waves
On the sand landed
The breeze of… a blade
Let the sun ignite
Shimmers on the cliffs
In glows of embers
The breath of the sea
In a flood of light
With an offshore wind
Travel the shores
My soul comes to dock
At the banks of its pier
In a tear shed
Flow the serenity

Reveals its bogs

Beatrice Van Ez-Le Perru is an award-winning French painter whose works have been extensively exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and the United States.
