This is one of the pieces of a serie called Women from other times, Menina serie. They are thought as a dialogue in between the pieces themselves. I created them by couples as a proposition… and an answer.

Begoña Lafuente is a painter and illustrator based in the Netherlands whose works have been widely exhibited internationally, as well as in Spain. For her, art is a timeless conversation where not everything is said and "the essential is diluted." Lafuente describes her works as a game of combinations that combines materials, textures and colors, improvising new routes for the senses. In addition, she integrates movement and contrast in her compositions to cultivate visual and emotional tension.
