About this artwork
Roots, heritage, nature... one and the same. My home, wh're art thee? Shall i seeth thee again? I feareth a marrow without thee.
I am the tree without roots, a fragile nature and an uncertain future.
In this oil painting, I delved deep into the themes of introspection and questions regarding our integrity as humans. The woman's gaze, directed away, invites viewers into a silent narrative of contemplation and serenity. Above her, trees, symbolizing… belonging and rootedness, mirror her thoughts, swirling with a touch of abstraction against a subtly tumultuous sky. This art piece resonates with a quiet energy, offering a unique aesthetic that blends realism with symbolic elements, perfect for bringing a thoughtful ambiance to any living space.
« I am the person holding the brush but my paintings have a life of their own. »
