"Romy" is a mixed media woman-flower painting, born from a collaboration with international model Romy Bondy, inspired by a photo by Marc Lamey. It explores the duality between strength and fragility, where the female portrait merges with the organic to express an inner transformation.
Her gaze, partially veiled by delicate petals, oscillates between mystery and vulnerability. The vibrant palette, mixing deep blue, intense red and violet, creates… a contrast between shadow and light, amplifying the emotion of the painting. The rich textures, superpositions and graphic patterns bring a dynamic that makes the whole vibrate.
With "Romy", I continue my exploration of the abstract female portrait, capturing the balance between sensitivity and power, between realism and abstraction, for a work that is both poetic and expressive.
