« When you buy my work you buy decades of trial and error, sleepless nights, blood, sweat, and tears. In essence, you buy a part of me, my heart and soul. »
Benjamin Casiano is an artist based in the United States whose works have been exhibited internationally.
He’s managed to carved out a name for himself in the Cubism/Fauvism circles as a present day Picasso, exhibiting in the US, Europe & Asia. His distinctive figurative compositions depict the people who inspired him to continue his artistry - teachers, mentors, friends, & family members. It’s Casiano's way of paying homage to them. His one eye compositions is his trademark & a reflection of his alter-ego. This is all due to an unfortunate injury of going blind from one eye. The irony, however, is he was painting this way long before losing vision. But as long as he can see, he’ll continue to add something beautiful to the world, one painting at a time. One exhibition at a time.
