The ostrich has always fascinated me.
Graceful beauty to the tip of the eyelashes, she is at the same time strong, very powerful, and can even disembowel a lynx, a feline or any other predator who would threaten her young or her eggs. The front of its legs covered with scales recalls its past as a reptile. Beautiful, refined with its renowned feathers, and raw at the same time. The starting point for my TXBRUT concept.
The ostrich represented… here on a 100% scale is an African male. This large format painting is composed of paint, pigments, earth, branches, bark and vegetable ivory.

The Fauna project is the second of the TXBRUT concept creations.
"TXBRUT" or raw texture means a technique of mixing raw raw materials based on paint, pigments and plant and mineral materials, such as branches, bark, earth, sand and other foliage.
