Benny Arte is a Venezuelan multidisciplinary artist based in Paris, whose universe fuses surrealism, impressionism, and pop art. Inspired by Warhol, Banksy, and Hokusai, he explores the boundary between dream and reality by drawing on popular culture and collective memory. His hybrid approach combines painting, drawing, and digital techniques (Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint), asserting a creative, manual, and thoughtful approach, distinct from images generated by artificial intelligence. His works feature familiar icons—Snoopy, Winnie the Pooh, Donald Duck—transformed into symbols of humor, nostalgia, or social criticism. Through series such as The Lost Ones—Dérives Animées or Les Heures Inexistentes, he constructs worlds where dreamlike dialogues with current events and modern mythologies. Between tenderness and anxiety, his creations reflect the visual and emotional complexity of our times.
