About this artwork
The inspiration for this painting came from a piece of silk bought at the Central Bazar in istanbul.
The fabric is clearly from Central Asia ( must have been a lovely Caftan for a man or woman) .
The pattern of the silk has been much enlarged to enhance the beautiful pattern.
The "gold" il acrylic paint. The painting has my symbol on the front and is signed on the back.
The sides are painted so the artwork can be hung without a frame.
