About this artwork
Work done after the collapse of the Twin Towers in New York. I immediately painted the Twin Towers in good condition.
Then I took a photo of them and uploaded them to the computer.
The computer image was reworked in different colors.
This work is about the memory of this city.
This work was born out of frustration at not being able to go there with my architecture school because I had to take care of my children.
So I created several works with… Dibond: "New York... under green sky, under blue sky, under red sky, etc...", as well as collages on canvas from the 1900s.
Always a single copy! I never liked multiples!
Then I took a photo of them and uploaded them to the computer.
