About this artwork
The dog has entered the scene! What this painting is about, I can sort of say. Why this is finished is because it works, it is tight. Inspiration I get from painters like Francis Bacon, even though one might say that my technique is the opposite. I rework everything many, many times. It is in a private collection in Helsinki, Finland.

Bert Van Zelm is a talented Dutch artist who has participated in exhibitions and residencies in Italy, the Netherlands, US and UK.
