About this artwork
In this acrylic work, I captured a scene where a billboard, glowing with the message "Love Me," shines against an electric haze and a desert horizon. It's a visual cry of desire and nostalgia, one imagines not far from the Bagdad Café, which, like the film, speaks to the search for love and attention in our contemporary world. Each brushstroke is perhaps an invitation to reflect on the paradoxes of our quest for affection in an often isolated society.
