About this artwork
In May, I wandered through my large natural garden, admiring the variety of plant forms. Some were just beginning to bud, while others had already faded. I gathered a bouquet of interesting pieces and brought them into my studio, arranging them on square canvases that had been primed with a neon-coloured base. From there, I began applying layers of paint, adding a blind contour drawing to capture their essence. The painting reflects the vibrant energy…
