About this artwork
While working on this artwork this summer, I was thinking about my garden, the plants and animals that inhabit it. Hence the title. It's an abstract work without representational forms. Nevertheless, the three layers and superimposed coats of paint also evoke the idea of hiding. And also of discovery.
