About this artwork
The artwork is painted on discarded paper package, as part of my ongoing “Recycled Painting” practice, in which I transform discarded packaging and waste paper into surfaces for painting. By working on found packaging and waste paper, I connect personal emotions with broader ideas about waste, value, visibility, and what society chooses to overlook or discard. This piece pulses with raw emotion through its tangled forms & eyes, capturing the chaos within. Using just pen & marker, I explored the subconscious, blending expressionism & surrealism to show hidden fears and fragmented identity. Through dense, layered lines and a multitude of watchful eyes, it captures a sense of voices rising as one.
