About this artwork
The artwork is painted on discarded flattened packaging, as part of my ongoing “Recycled Painting” practice, in which I transform discarded packaging and waste paper into surfaces for painting. By working on found packaging and waste paper, I connect personal emotions with broader ideas about waste, value, visibility, and what society chooses to overlook or discard.
