Bita Masoumi

Bita Masoumi is a painter and visual artist with roots in Iran and training in both painting and graphic design, now based in California. She pioneers "Recycled Painting," transforming discarded food packaging into emotionally charged compositions using acrylic, marker, pen, and pastel, while her style moves fluidly between expressionism, surrealism, and raw figuration. Her art radiates vulnerability, protest, and longing, inviting the viewer to recognize the beauty and value that persist in what is forgotten or cast aside.
