About this artwork
This is another pretty complicated composition in a very small space. You've got fine point marker, watercolor washes, beaded up watercolor, careful acrylic brushwork, pallet knife work, collage, and poured paint all in a painting the size of a sheet of printer paper.
The collage elements are serial number stickers from an automaton project I'm involved with. They are proofs and don't actually have any real information on them but the design of… these stickers was actually part of my engineering job.

Blake Brasher
United States
« My work is an attempt to suggest possible ways of being. It is a self conscious offering of answers while knowing that answers do not exist. »
Established American artistic Blake Brasher favors a messy, colorful and abstruct style of painting to offer his viewers alternative explanations into possible ways of being. Not satified with conventional explanations of why things are how they are, Blake's vibrant and sometimes brashy works provide a place for meditative thought, or, ideally, no thought at all.
Blake has honed his artistic talents through a number of residencies both in his native America and Europe. His works have featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States.
