About this artwork
This artwork shows a person's weakness and confusion.
At a time when I was living on alcohol, there was a woman who was talking to me at a bar where I sometimes hung out. I don't think we had a pleasant conversation because we always stopped by drunk. However, it was not bad to talk about each other's life stories, childhood dreams, and future dreams while exchanging deep worries.
Before I became unconscious, I left the bar and walked along the… street, reeling in the scattering of brilliant light from the surrounding artificial lighting. I was alone again and headed home, but my heart felt heavy for no reason.
At times like this, I used to get tired of even breathing. The woman's reeling, half-peeled sleeveless, and a visible bra showed her weariness.
In drawing this work, I may have been looking forward to assimilating the woman's image, my image, and the feelings I shared into one.
