This shot was taken from the Observatory at Griffith Park in Los Angeles California. Black and white contrast accentuated the wonderful sky looming over the dome. The Art Deco architectural details are highlighted here and its obvious why this setting has been used in multiple movie backdrops. A bit of LA nostalgia combined with a neo modernistic treatment of the Observatory makes for great drama and a fascinating study.
