Each painting in this series organically became a meditation on love, heart connection, inclusiveness of color and gender and sexual expression. Love is often felt within one's heart, the physical heart. In my experience lovemaking is an energy a feeling that can engage what feels like every cell in one's body. Heart and physical connection can be such an incredible experience that I believe is worthy of celebration and acceptance inclusive of gender…

Each painting in this series has taken a longer than it looks process to create. After the first layers of paint are applied I carefully draw the human heart then the couples by using a sharp tool to outline these elements, gently carving them into the wooden surface much like how love or lovers are imprinted within one's emotional muscle memory.
