About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the mysterious power of nature and the ancestral wisdom of the temple guardians. The leopard, a symbol of power and elegance, watches over a hidden sanctuary, inhabited by colorful birds and lush flora. The fusion of acrylic, oil, and resin brings to life this metaphysical atmosphere, blending realism and surrealism, which will illuminate any space with a vibrant and protective energy.
The Temple of Solomon, an… allegory, with its two pillars Jachin and Boaz, represents the two polarities of the universe: masculine and feminine, matter and spirit, the balance of forces and wisdom. This Temple symbolizes the absolute mastery of this balance, that is, the Spirit dominating matter, transcending the duality within each of us. And thus, humankind becomes the architect of its own reality!
Her artistic approach is deeply rooted in the exploration of the spiritual realm through lyrical, poetic, and surreal figuration. Her work highlights the duality of human existence, between shadow and light, materiality and spirituality. She expresses this tension through a pictorial contrast between ultra-smooth surfaces and chaotic reliefs, sometimes creating works that exist somewhere between painting and sculpture, where the subjects seem to emerge from the support. Trained in decorative painting, she has enriched her practice through various specialized workshops, notably in lime techniques, frescoes, patinas, and decorative plasters such as stucco. She also masters mural painting, modeling, airbrushing, and pouring with epoxy resin, giving her work a unique, glazed appearance. She invites reflection on consciousness, wisdom, and the connection between the visible and invisible worlds, sublimating matter to touch upon these spiritual realities.
