There is that moment, just before. Before the day fully breaks. Before the light takes over the world. A suspended moment where everything is possible because nothing is yet decided.
The sky is celadon — that tender, aquamarine green, inherited from antique porcelain. It holds its breath. It carries within it a pink mist, almost unreal, like a last reflection of the night hesitating to leave.
And then, on the horizon, the band of gold. Thick, vibrant,… majestic. The gold leaf is exposed across its entire width—it is there that the light is about to burst forth. It is not there yet, but it is already. We feel it, we sense it. It rises within the material.
Below, the turquoise sea awaits. Calm, dense, ready to receive what is to come. The cracked textures bear the memory of all the mornings past.
