About this artwork
This white tea rose (John F. Kennedy) offers itself up to be pollinated and to feed a ready and willing honey bee. This primordial exchange of favor for favor is a small miracle of every summer day. They do a dance of survival and mutual satisfaction, truly "tea for two, and two for tea...".

« My paintings hold on to ephemeral moments in nature. There is a meditative quality to close observation, a sense of connection to all life. I hope to awaken that awareness. »
Bronle Crosby is an American artist whose paintings have been extensively exhibited in the United States. She describes her almost photographic pieces as abstracted glimpses of realism. Crosby finds inspiration from glimpses into nature and the transitional instants as things change, and refers to these moments as “the betweens”. Her artistic process involves focusing on "little corners of the big picture". She creates using oils on canvas or linen.
