About this artwork
An abstract botanical piece exploring leaf shapes, light and dark. Bronwyn loves looking out into her bushland garden and seeing how the plants interact with the environment and each other. Some plants sit happily in the shade of the overhanging canopy. Others clamber over each other reaching for the bright light. When the breeze blows they dance in unison. The result is an interplay of shapes, movement, shadows.
Bronwyn's paintings are started with… an energetic layering of colour with the focus on mark making and brushstrokes that depict movement. The constant layering and varying of shapes creates complex colour mixes and depth within the piece.
Framed in a gorgeous warm blonde hardwood float frame, this artwork would look beautiful in a bedroom or any living room in the home.
