Living on acreage in the Noosa hinterland means the light at night is very true. There’s no ambient light from street lights like there is in suburbia.
When there is no moon you can feel the darkness but when the moon is full the surrounding bush is lit up magnificently creating a world of shadows and shapes to admire and decipher.
This artwork is an expression… of my bush garden on a moonlit night, the plants, the textures, the shadows and that oh so bright light.
Custom Framed in Oak hardwood picking up on the warm creams and yellow which complement the strong midnight blue of this piece.
Comes with signed Certificate of Authenticity

« I love the freedom of experimentation, the joy of spontaneity. »
Bronwyn Barton is an artist based in Australia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. While her works are diverse, they most often reflect her love of the lush wilderness of Queensland, where she lives. Barton's semi-abstract compositions are characterized by the use of many layers of color, organic shapes, and expressive mark-making. She most often creates with acrylics and pastels on canvas.
