About this artwork

In this oil painting, shimmering water reflects the majestic mountains and lush trees, evoking a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. I wanted to bring the beauty of the mountains, filling it with fresh, uplifting energy and a sense of serene adventure. The scene is from Lake Annette in Jasper National Park, near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. My family and I travelled there for years, at Thanksgiving (early October), and enjoyed the beautiful autumn scenery… and vibrant colours, giving thanks for another year. INV#9009
