About this artwork
I created this work by mixing acrylics, tempera, enamel and sand to explore depth and texture. It is an abstract work that reflects the duality of existence and the continuous search for balance. The vertical lines symbolize the journey between two worlds, the human and the ethereal. This painting will transmit contemplative energy, stimulating deep reflections and intriguing conversations in every space in which it is placed.

Bruno Biondi has displayed his paintings in numerous solo exhibitions throughout his native Italy and Poland. Colorblind at birth, it wasn’t until his artistic style transformed from figurative to informal that he realized how integral color was to his work and that he could not avoid it. Vertical signs are carved and imprinted in each of his pieces, which are all entitled ‘Vertical Concept”. Biondi imbues these symbols with the significance of stability and self-confidence in uncertain times.
