About this artwork
With "Sol y Menta," I have diverted the tools of a mason by borrowing his spatulas in order to achieve my primary intention: to materialize a moment T of a movement. It is to do with instinct, to free oneself from all preparatory work to let the gesture act.
The work is a nod to summer, the sun and the smell of mint.

The artist defends his convictions nourished by his training in design (textile and digital) then in pictorial art, first developing his work in the service of industries then in communication and digital agencies before expressing his feelings and reinventing his sensitivity in painting.
He creates his own tools, preferring a mason's plastering knives, a plasterer's spatulas or cleaning brooms to art brushes; he likes to divert the tools of other skills to the point of borrowing their gestures.
Committed to the practice of dance, he chooses the body as a medium for its ability to express the deep energy of a work and the movement.
