About this artwork
I sometimes go to sweat lodge, a sacred ritual space for spiritual cleansing and journeying that is a First Nations People's practise here in Canada.
I feel blessed in that I often meet my spirit guides and animal totems here and inevitably they have messages to share. This painting was one of many born out of one of these experiences. This particular vision was given to me with great love and compassion which I feel is the reason her sub-conscious… chose pink the colour as it resonates with the higher heart chakra. Gold and pyrite have been added for their healing vibrations. The pyrite protects from negative vibration and forces while helping to ground us. Gold is a symbol of immortality, eternity and excellence.
