About this artwork
This is a work painted in acrylic on a Belgian linen canvas, known for its fine, high-quality texture that provides a professional and elegant finish. The composition features a group of skiers in black and white, depicted with precise lines and a minimalist style that emphasizes the dynamism of the scene. The skiers are represented in different positions and attitudes, transmitting movement and energy, while tracing sinuous lines that suggest their…
descent down the slope.
The white background is strategically used to simulate the whiteness of the snow, creating an atmosphere of purity and spaciousness. The monochrome palette not only highlights the figure of the skiers, but also lends a timeless and contemplative character to the work, inviting the viewer to imagine themselves in the middle of the snowy landscape. The interaction between the empty space of the background and the dark strokes of the skiers creates a striking contrast.
