In this digital work, I combine abstract and comic elements to create a mysterious, almost surreal atmosphere. The rabbit in the suit symbolizes duality and enigma, inviting contemplation. My work brings a powerful, mysterious energy to the space, generating both tension and fascination. It's like a visual dialogue between reality and fantasy.
Carmen Hamelmann's journey began with a solid design education at pinkgesign (now neopink). A Scandinavian app for digital art ignited a new passion that blossomed in 2022. Despite setbacks due to data loss, she developed a distinctive visual language. As a media designer, she uses AI as a precise instrument to create iconic works that oscillate between pop surrealism and archetypal motifs. Today, her work is curatorially recognized and combines technology with timeless narrative power.
I mostly work at the intersection of feeling, body, and memory.
My art arises from the desire to make inner states visible – quiet tensions, strength, vulnerability and presence.
I trust the process more than the plan and let my work grow until it develops its own voice.
My works invite you to slow down and encounter yourself within them.
