About this artwork
The painting depicts an Irish coastal scene which is called Howth Head. It is a hilly mound by the sea and at the time it was painted the sun was shining brightly, which a not-always-frequent event in an Irish summer. It is an original panting, done in soft pastels (Sennelier, Unison) on Clairfontaine pastelmat, signed by the artist.
